{"id":94,"date":"2007-05-21T02:15:28","date_gmt":"2007-05-21T06:15:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/derekandevonne.com\/?p=94"},"modified":"2007-05-21T02:15:28","modified_gmt":"2007-05-21T06:15:28","slug":"erica-at-9-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/derekandevonne.com\/?p=94","title":{"rendered":"Erica at 9 months!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Q3 came to a close a few days ago, and it&#8217;s hard to imagine that we&#8217;re 3\/4 of the way through the first year already!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday we finished our swim lessons.\u00a0 I&#8217;m still amazed at how much these infants take to, and enjoy the water.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think I learned to swim until I was at least 5 or 6, and I remember some trepidation at the first few times I went into the deep end.\u00a0 But infants this young don&#8217;t really have any fear, and sure they get annoyed when they get water up their noses,\u00a0down the wrong pipe, or in their ears, but a quick timeout to recover and they&#8217;re right back in it.\u00a0 And the little buggers learn fast- when we count to 3, e will close her\u00a0eyes and mouth in preparation for the dunk&#8230;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"imagelink\" id=\"p95\" title=\"img_1113a.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/derekandevonne.com\/?attachment_id=95\" rel=\"attachment\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image95\" height=\"85\" alt=\"img_1113a.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/derekandevonne.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/05\/img_1113a.jpg\" \/><\/a><a class=\"imagelink\" id=\"p96\" title=\"img_1114a.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/derekandevonne.com\/?attachment_id=96\" rel=\"attachment\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image96\" height=\"85\" alt=\"img_1114a.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/derekandevonne.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/05\/img_1114a.jpg\" \/><\/a><a class=\"imagelink\" id=\"p97\" title=\"img_1116a.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/derekandevonne.com\/?attachment_id=97\" rel=\"attachment\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image97\" height=\"85\" alt=\"img_1116a.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/derekandevonne.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/05\/img_1116a.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mind you she still sticks out her tongue to taste the pool water, so maybe she still has a few more things to learn.\u00a0 In the end, she clearly enjoys it, and we don&#8217;t mind getting up on Saturday AM to do this.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll enrol her into the same class, even though we know the routine.\u00a0 The kids don&#8217;t go to &#8220;Duck&#8221;
